17. Arco di Gavi
Another great fun sight to see while walking through the city is the Arco di Gavi! This is cool to see in Verona, as it is very reminiscent of the ruins from Rome. Built by the gens Gavia, a Roman family, this served as a gate into the city in the Middle Ages.
18. Ponte Scaligero
Finally, a hidden gem that you have to see and walk across is the Ponte Scaligero! This bridge is beautiful, and leads toward a castle that you can explore and is so fun to walk through!
19. Castel Vecchio
This is the castle that is connected to the Ponte Scaligero and is really cool to go in and explore. It now serves as a museum, but was the most important military construction of the Scaliger dynasty that ruled the city in the Middle Ages.
